LIFE CYCLES
The Life Cycles approach to fall prevention and mobility involves introducing programs and activities focused on different stages of the life cycle of an individual.
At different stages of a person's life cycle their attitude desire and capacity for various levels of physical activity and exercise varies. What the Life Cycles approach tries to accomplish is to offer activities which support and encourage staying active and developing attitudes and habits which will carry over into later life and help the person remain active and independent well into their later life.
Our first activity which we are proud to offer under this approach involves our BULLY PROOF KIDS Program. This program will work with the very young (primarily Kindergarten through middle school) to develop skills and attitudes which will prevent them from being bullied as well as developing skills to improve mobility and fall prevention. The approach for this program is to offer a supportive encouraging and fun environment for developing good motor skills and good character.
